An Integrated Mining & Manufacturing Investment
Hard Rocks Mining Company presents an integrated mining and downstream manufacturing investment located in Samad Al Shan, Al Sharqiyah North Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. The project combines the expansion of an existing chromite quarry with the establishment of a chromite concentrate processing plant with an installed capacity of 144,000 tons per annum.
The strategic objective is to move away from the export of raw chromite ore and towards in-country value addition. This transformation is expected to significantly enhance revenues, improve profit margins, create sustainable employment opportunities, and increase long-term fiscal contributions to the Government of Oman.
